The L-TEC string system is designed to allow players to easily customize their stringbed
to take full advantage of their skill set by mixing and matching
strings of various compositions, diameters and profiles to create a
custom hybrid setup that takes less energy to generate better results. Properly selected and installed L-TEC strings will make tennis infinitely more pleasurable and raise the level of on-court performance.
With so many options selecting a hybrid combination can be overwhelming. Through extensive worldwide playtesting we have identified some of the more popular hybrid combinations and many of these are available in pre-packaged sets which make testing them convenient and easy.
Some of the more popular combinations with brief explanations in regard to performance are listed below:
L-TEC Premium OS 16/L-TEC Premium 4S
This combination is especially well-suited for players seeking traditional full-poly playing characteristics similar to the most popular brands with touring professionals that will provide increased feel and extended performance time. This is the combination most appropriate for high level tournament players and touring professionals.

L-TEC Premium OS 17/L-TEC Premium OS 18 (More inherent power)

*Note – L-TEC Premium OS Neon offers the same performance characteristics as the L-TEC Premium OS sterling and can be substituted/mixed for visual appeal.
L-TEC Premium 3S Black/L-TEC Premium 4S
Considered by many as the best overall hybrid combination in the L-TEC line. This combination rates strongly in all areas of performance. Due to the performance versatility it is well suited to a wide range of playing styles from advanced intermediates (fast swing speeds required) to high level tournament players.
L-TEC Premium 5S/L-TEC Premium 3S Black
This combination is especially appealing to players who are putting a premium on spin production. It should be noted that higher level players with extremely fast swing speeds may find this combination to generate a surplus of spin that is counter-productive as the balls may dip into the court sooner and not achieve the desired depth of shot.

L-TEC Premium 4S/L-TEC Premium Gut
For players who put a premium on comfort while seeking the desirable performance characteristics of copoly strings. This is an extremely well-playing hybrid combination that a wide range of players can use effectively and enjoy.

L-TEC Premium Pro/L-TEC Premium Gut (Greater tension maintenance and durability)
L-TEC Premium 5S Black/L-TEC Premium Gut (Increase in spin, lower durability)

L-TEC Premium OS 18/L-TEC WOW
This combination is for players who are looking for superior ball speed and comfort with excellent control ratings. The L-TEC WOW cross string is fast and the sound off the stringbed is as impressive as the shots it generates.

L-TEC Premium 3S Black/L-TEC WOW (Greater spin potential with outstanding comfort)
