Assessing Results | JET Method

One of the key advantages JET stringers have to offer their customers is precision.  JET stringers are able to accurately string to specific stringbed tensions.  This gives them the ability to achieve a consistent and verifiable outcome for their customer.  The final stringbed tension is measured with a new tool called the "String-a-lyzer."  This tool verifies the end result is exactly where the stringer wants to be.

Using the JET Method of stringing with L-TEC strings,  the highest skilled JET stringer will be able to generate the following results with each stringing:  (It takes hundreds of racquets to work to this level of proficiency, but the results are definitely worth it.)

1.  All main strings will show an identical tension from string to string when measured using a String Meter

2.  The difference in tension between the center 10 mains and center 10 crosses will be 20% - 25%.  (Using traditional stringing methods the difference is typically close to 35%)

3.  When a midplus racquet with 16 mains is strung the overall stringbed tension will measure 3 pounds higher than the set reference tension.  (i.e. If the set tension is 44 lbs., the final stringbed tension will measure 47 lbs.)

4.  When a midplus racquet with 18 mains is strung the overall stringbed tension will measure 5 pounds higher than the set reference tension.
